9 Frequently

Asked Questions

How do we get started?

Our gift to you is a free, no obligation 30 minute session to answer any questions you may have, give you a taste of the coaching experience and see if we would work well together.  We truly believe the coaching process is food for life and look forward to sharing it with you.

How much time will this take?

Coaching Sessions are 30 or 60 minutes and are once a week or every other week.  We can coach you by the session, month or you can make a three or six month commitment.  In our experience, clients who sign up for extended packages derive even more value and achieve remarkable results.  Your first session may be 90 minutes.

Where do coaching sessions take place?

We coach via phone and through Skype video.  If you are located in New York City we can also arrange to meet in person.

How do you support me between sessions?

Different packages include different levels of support via e-mail and telephone.  We will also take short calls for ‘spot coaching’, should a challenge arise between sessions.  We may suggest or offer you additional reading or resources to work with as well and recommend you follow our Facebook page for regular inspiration.

Can I afford to do this?

We believe that coaching should be available to everyone.  We will work with you to create an affordable plan that works for you.  Please call or e-mail to learn more about our pricing and package structures.  In addition, we can tailor a package to suit your individual needs and budget.

What’s the difference between Coaching, Therapy and Counseling?

Coaching is not about how you came to be who you are; it is about helping you get from where you are now to a specific point in the future focusing on your health and well-being en route. Counselors are focused on the business of recovery, a coach is solely in the business of development. The intent of coaching is to help you live a life that is more productive, enjoyable, and fulfilling. Coaching is NOT therapy or psychotherapy and is not a substitute for appropriate support for mental illness or if you are under psychiatric supervision. If you require such services, please contact a local mental health agency or hospital. Coaching focuses on the here and now, how to move forward into the future by taking action, working on what you can do starting today to change your life.
